·        I do not plan to run my business and attend an office job every day. I wouldn’t necessarily want to sell my business though. Ideally I would like to build it to the point where I could hire people to manage and run the business while I profit from the returns and can have the freedom to do what I want without the stress of the business stress. Not selling it means that I can profit of the sales for as long as the company is in business not just the price which I sell it for.

·        I selected this because I have never been the type of person who likes to work. I want to live free of any stress and responsibilities and have the freedom to travel when I want and raise my children as an involved parent. This business is not something I want to keep in my family for years, but rather have as a form of passive income to support my family with.

·        I don’t really think that this exit strategy drove any decisions for my business, other than my idea for its organizational culture. I wanted to ensure that everything could be done without my input and that there were quality managers and administrators in place. This was to provide the guidance and leadership that the staff would need even though the founder and owner of the company was absent.

  1. Hey Jordan,

I believe that your approach to running a business is a great one, especially when it comes to using it as a source of passive income while you focus on a job that really draws out your passion. I would also have to say that I definitely also have a feel for your vision about living a stress-free life, unrestricted by work and free to do anything I desire. Good work overall!

26A ·         This semester I did not necessarily fail a class or an exam but a goal I had set for myself. I had promised myself that I would not fall behind in my online classes and be scrambling for exams like I did last semester. By coming to ENT in person and watching my elective livestreamed I was mostly on top of it until my social schedule and sorority friends limited me from watching the 5 hours of economics lectures that were assigned every week. By the time spring break had finished I had over 30 hours of lectures that I needed to catch up on in 1 week for the upcoming exam. I feel like I had failed myself and fallen back into bad habits that led to my unsatisfactory grade last semester. ·         I learned that while a busy social schedule is fun and good for your happiness, choosing to put social or sorority life above your goals and the time required for your classes is never the correct ch...

14A- Halfway Reflection

14A- 1.       Tenacity is a competency:   In order to keep up with this course I have created an pre-deadline for myself to ensure all my assignments are completed before the due date and a high quality. Developing this habit has allowed me to manage my time more accurately and not turn in lackluster work. Because this class requires some outside of the library interaction, looking at assignments the week before they are due is now a behavior I have tried to implement this in the past few weeks when the assignments required interviews, which are not possible in the library at 2 am when you’re trying to beat a deadline. In order to be successful in ENT you must interact with other people and do so in a timely manner. 2.       Tenacity is also about attitude: When I was extremely a couple of weeks ago I put off all of my ENT homework because it is usually the last thing due for the week. By doing this however, I found myse...

29A 1.       Opportunity ·         New environmental protection movements have brought to light how environmentally damaging plastic is to our ecosystems, especially our oceans. The single use plastics are the greatest under fire because they are disposed of in great numbers and do not decompose, thus leaving trash to pollute the oceans and lands. ·         After a video emerged of a sea turtle having a straw stuck in its nostril, the push to stop the use of plastic straws was born. It began with the policy of not giving out straws unless asked, then to straw-less cups, and finally some cities have completely banned the distribution of plastic straws by restaurants and other straw serving establishments. With this came the implementation of paper straws in every restaurant, coffee shop, bar, and gas station. Paper straws were simply awful. They disintegrate in your drink and become l...
