26A ·         This semester I did not necessarily fail a class or an exam but a goal I had set for myself. I had promised myself that I would not fall behind in my online classes and be scrambling for exams like I did last semester. By coming to ENT in person and watching my elective livestreamed I was mostly on top of it until my social schedule and sorority friends limited me from watching the 5 hours of economics lectures that were assigned every week. By the time spring break had finished I had over 30 hours of lectures that I needed to catch up on in 1 week for the upcoming exam. 14A- Halfway Reflection

14A- 1.       Tenacity is a competency:   In order to keep up with this course I have created an pre-deadline for myself to ensure all my assignments are completed before the due date and a high quality. Developing this habit has allowed me to manage my time more accurately and not turn in lackluster work. Because this class requires some outside of the library interaction, looking at assignments the week before they are due is now a behavior I have tried to implement this in the past few weeks when the assignments required interviews, which are not possible in the library at 2 am when you’re trying to beat a deadline. In order to be successful in ENT you must interact with other people and do so in a timely manner. 2.       Tenacity is also about attitude: When I was extremely a couple of weeks ago I put off all of my ENT homework because it is usually the last thing due for the week. The single use plastics are the greatest under fire because they are disposed of in great numbers and do not decompose, thus leaving trash to pollute the oceans and lands. ·         After a video emerged of a sea turtle having a straw stuck in its nostril, the push to stop the use of plastic straws was born. It began with the policy of not giving out straws unless asked, then to straw-less cups, and finally some cities have completely banned the distribution of plastic straws by restaurants and other straw serving establishments.
